It was only a matter of time before Clutch Masters built the ultimate clutch kit for the Porsche 996 and 997 Turbo. With the success of their Stage 3 OEM replacement kits holding 700 horsepower with daily driveability, Clutch Masters wanted to step up their clutch game and release this new 8.5 inch twin disk clutch with flywheel for the Porsche 911 Turbo. This street version features dual Fiber Tough disks giving the driver ease of use for daily driving. The complete clutch weighs an astonishing 23lbs. The stock flywheel alone weighs about 40lbs!

The lightweight flywheel helps improve turbo spool up by reducing rotational weight. As a kit, it is a complete bolt-on for the factory clutch and flywheel. This kit is still a push style like the OEM unit. Other systems are a pull type which requires changing the factory clutch hydraulic system. All made in the USA, this clutch kit uses a combination of ceramic and Fiber Tough material to provide excellent driveability. The larger 8.5 inch disks provide a better engagement than the other systems currently on the market. These disks last much longer because of the material and sizing. If you are the type that likes to abuse your car on the road course or drag strip, these disks will last much longer than carbon ones. And if you still beat it up that bad, a complete rebuild kit with all the parts and hardware you need is available. Twin disks are generally used for those with high horsepower cars. With this clutch kit, we are talking almost 900 horsepower that it can withstand. Because of the use of precision engineered bearings and the larger diameter twin disks, the clutch relatively has NO chatter compared to those running a standard clutch and lightweight flywheel. Clutch Masters has been extremely successful with this clutch kit for many platforms as well. Proven on VR's 825 horsepower 997 Turbo, this clutch took that car to 206.2mph at the Texas Mile event. Returns Policy

To RETURN any system, product or merchandise you must contact us first for a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Special order and custom made systems, apparel, Carbon Fiber Parts (unless defective), and other certain merchandise are NOT returnable. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. To return a Grid Racing Parts product an RA number must be requested and if granted the item(S) must be in original Grid Racing Parts sealed packaging. A copy of the original invoice and a brief explanation must accompany all returned items. You must follow our instructions for returning items carefully, or Grid Racing Parts reserves the right to charge a 30% restocking fee on any OPENED box or repackaged products. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. If an order was shipped with a promotional “Free Shipping”, and the order is returned, we exclusively reserve the right to charge the customer or distributor for the cost of that original shipping and handling. If a Grid Racing Parts Performance package is ordered, and an individual component of that package is returned, Grid Racing Parts reserves the right to charge back the performance package discount along with any additionally offered discounts. Return shipped items DAMAGED in transit will RESULT in additional charges up to and including rejection of the competent. It is the customer’s responsibility to ship safely and properly. No returns accepted after 30 days from the invoice date. No credits will be given after 30 days from the invoice date.

To qualify for return, the product must be unused and remain in the original packaging, as well as match the current design and packaging for the product at the time of return. Periodically mistakes are made when ordering, or a wrong part is shipped, and you may wish to return an item. We will do everything reasonable to satisfy you. Please contact Grid Racing Parts immediately via email at service@GridRacingParts.com to discuss the circumstances before returning any products. Anything returned without prior authorization from Grid Racing Parts will be refused. All returns must be sent back fully prepaid. Our customer service department (service@gridracingparts.com) will issue a Return Authorization Number, which must accompany any return. A copy of the original invoice and a brief explanation must accompany all returned items. No returns accepted after 30 days from the invoice date. No credits given after 30 days.

Shipping

Grid Racing Parts cannot be held liable for refusal of, delay of, loss of, theft or damage to a shipment of any item. The customer agrees to indemnify Grid Racing Parts for all costs, fees and expenses Grid Racing Parts incurs as a result of any violation of any local, state, federal, national or international laws or regulations. Customer agrees to take responsibility for lost packages that were not independently insured or sent without requiring signature. The customer understands they will be liable in the event of additional fees, tariffs, or legal issues such as border seizure. Customer accepts these risks and agrees to release Grid Racing Parts of all liability.

Grid Racing Parts reserves the right to charge a shipping and handling fee on every order being shipped from our facility. This fee is universal and applies to all retail and wholesale purchases and cannot be waived or credited.

A 8.25% sales tax will be implemented for every purchase made by a Texas resident. This fee will be charged for in-house installations and products purchased online, over the phone, and/or via email, this fee is required by law, is non-negotiable and non-refundable.
